AORN Chapter 1418 Post Holiday Celebration at Ancho & Agave on Saturday, January 17th, 2026 at 11:30 am

Hello Chapter Members: 

I hope this finds you all well.  As we say goodbye to 2025 and enter into 2026,  let us share this time together as perioperative nurses "Lighting the Pathway" to make a difference in our profession by our impact to the road of advanced healthcare.  Attached is a flyer for our Post Holiday Celebration as AORN Illinois Chapter Members for January.  Please help support our chapter 1418 by attending this celebration, share your ideas for other fun events, & network with your professional peers.

Our next AORN Chapter 1418 meeting date is Saturday, March 14th, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.  We will participate at "Feed my Starving Children" in Schaumburg.  The address is 740 Wiley Farm Court, Schaumburg, IL. 60173.  Please sign up online for this event through fmsc.org.  The Group/Join Code is:  8767PK. 

For our members interested in furthering their perioperative curriculum, there is a CNOR Prep and Review Course offered by AORN Chapter 1411.  The event will take place at Ascension Alexian Brothers in Elk Grove Village, Kennedy Conference Room on Saturday, March 14th to Sunday, March 15th, 2026,from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm (Saturday) & 7:00 am to 4:55 pm (Sunday).  There are 16.0 contact hours provided for this two-day course.  Early registration fee received by February 14th, 2026 is $295.00.  Regular Registration Fee After February 14th to March 7th is $320.00.  Please make checks payable to Zander Perioperative Education.

Just to mention, this year's AORN Global Conference & Expo is in New Orleans,  themed, "Lighting the Pathway" from April 11th to April 14th.  If you are able to attend this event, you will have the opportunity to network with peers on a national level.  Not to mention, witness the largest trade show with the newest technologies offered for the OR today.  Countless educational opportunities are also offered, as well as assistance for first-time attendees. If you are attending this event,  the deadline to register as a group of 3+ with $40.00 off the $640.00 registration "AORN members only" fee is quickly approaching, I will need your information by February 14th, 2026.  Our chapter is allowed up to 2 delegates for attendance.  Unfortunately, according to our treasury, funds from our chapter are tight & we are unable to support the registration fee this year.
